At the age of seventeen,
Sirena Moore, a self motivated, highly ambitious teenage mother
entered the corporate world by working for industry leaders such
as Williard,
Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Advest and
Palm Inc. Her objectives were to obtain the skills
necessary to fulfill her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. In
2002, at the age of 21 years old her dream became a reality. She
joined with her father Theodore Moore, Sr. to form Elohim
Cleaning Contractors Inc., a full service construction cleaning
firm that provides a wide range of services to
general
contractors and
construction management firms throughout the Tri-State
area (Phila-NJ-DE). Ms. Moore has utilized her financial
planning; marketing; organizational; and
managerial skills, acquired from past employment
experiences, to successfully grow a multi-million dollar
business in under five years.
Over the years, Sirena Moore has received
a myriad of certifications and special recognitions identifying her exceptional
proficiency in business planning and development, as well as recognition of her
efforts in managing one of the up and coming small businesses in the region,
specializing in construction field services support. Ms. Moore has been featured
in Black Enterprise Magazine (Jan 09 Cover),
Philadelphia Business Journal,
Philadelphia Tribune, Philadelphia Metro, Construction Today Magazine
(Nov. 08 Cover), Private Clubs Magazine, Urban Influence Magazine and many
others. Sirena is the youngest board member on the Greater Philadelphia Chamber
of Commerce Small Business Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Urban
League Young Professionals Philadelphia Chapter. Ms. Moore’s ambition and
willingness to go the extra mile has earned her a considerable amount of respect
and high visibility within the
small business community.
In
addition to professional success and accomplishments, this now 27-year-old
entrepreneur is extremely active in her community. She sits on the board for We
are SEEDS (www.weareseeds.org)
a 501 (C) 3 non-profit youth organization whose mission is to provide
Mentorship, Educational,
support Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs, Life Skills Training, and Support
Mechanisms to help young girls city wide between the ages of 11 and 18,
particularly those in under served and distressed communities to become more
productive citizens and women of excellence!
Most recently, the success of Elohim Cleaning Contractors
Inc. has also prompted Sirena to create a vehicle to assist other
small business owners and
aspiring entrepreneurs. Thus, Sirena formed SirenaSpeaks LLC and recorded a
motivational CD entitled “It’s not my fault, It’s just my time”. Additionally,
Sirena launched
www.sirenaspeaks.com. This website
outlines her many accomplishments and speaking engagements. The site also allows
visitors to sign-up for a monthly newsletter. Her lifestyle and accomplishments
have been an inspiration to her peers, and the young people she serves. Her
innovative techniques and ideas are proven to be irreplaceable and invaluable
assets to her business and her community.
